This page lists all the plug-ins developped by Mediasoft Technologies or third-party companies to enhance the capabilities of eMedia Card Designer. For each plug-in, you will find its description, the build number, the publication date, the approximate size and a link on which you will click to download.


To extract files that are available in zip format, use WinZip or any archive extract program.

Description:

The text file exporter plug-in is provided on the installation CD of eMedia. Its purpose is to export in a text file every record created, modified or deleted, for a mainframe connection or any other process.
Instructions:
  1. Download the file.
  2. Unzip the file in the "Plug-Ins" folder under the eMedia installation folder.
  3. Launch eMedia, open the "Tools" menu, select the "Plug-Ins" command, then choose "Select Plug-in".
  4. Click on the "Add plug-in" button and select the plug-in. Click OK.

Description:

This plug-in stores in two fields you define in your database the number of times a card is printed, and the date and time of the last printout. This is a perfect tool for printing management.
Instructions:
  1. Download the file.
  2. Unzip the file in the "Plug-Ins" folder under the eMedia installation folder.
  3. Launch eMedia, open the "Tools" menu, select the "Plug-Ins" command, then choose "Select Plug-in".
  4. Click on the "Add plug-in" button and select the plug-in. Click OK.

Description:

This is not a plug-in. This file is the Software Development Kit, that would allow you to develop your own plug-in. The zip file contains the documentation and a sample plug-in written in Microsoft™ Visual Basic™ 6.0 that will be a good starter kit.
Instructions:
  1. Download the file.
  2. Unzip the file in a blank folder.
  3. Read carefully the documentation in HTML format.
  4. Begin your development.
